At Velvet Reverie Boutique, every order is handled with care. Because many of our items are fulfilled through third-party suppliers or dropshipping partners, processing and shipping times may vary by product, supplier, and destination.
Please review the details below before placing your order so you know what to expect while your pieces make their way to you.
🕰️ Processing & Delivery Times
Orders typically ship within 5 to 21 business days, Monday through Friday, depending on the product, supplier, inventory status, and fulfillment location.
Please allow up to 5 business days for payment processing before your order begins fulfillment.
Once your order has been prepared for shipment or passed to a fulfillment partner, we may be unable to make changes, updates, or cancellations.
Delivery times shown at checkout or provided after shipment are estimates only. Carrier delays, supplier processing, weather, holidays, customs, incorrect addresses, and other little gremlins in the shipping machinery may affect the final delivery date.
🚚 Shipping Methods & Carriers
We primarily ship through USPS, but some items may be shipped by third-party suppliers or fulfillment partners using other carriers when needed.
Shipping costs are calculated based on the order, product weight, shipping destination, available carrier options, and current shipping rates.
If multiple items are ordered together, they may ship separately depending on where each item is fulfilled from. This means you may receive more than one package for the same order.
📦 Tracking Information
When tracking is available, it will be sent to the email address used at checkout.
Please allow time for tracking to update after it is created. A tracking number may show as “pre-shipment,” “label created,” or “awaiting carrier pickup” before the carrier scans the package into movement.
If your tracking has not updated for several business days, feel free to contact us and we’ll do our best to help check on it.

Please double-check your shipping address, email address, phone number, sizes, colors, quantities, and product selections before placing your order.
We are not responsible for delays, lost packages, or additional shipping fees caused by incorrect or incomplete customer-provided information.

🏠 Address Changes
Address changes are not guaranteed once an order has been placed.
If an address change is requested after shipment and the carrier allows it, additional fees may apply. A $21.00 per box address change fee may be charged when applicable.
If a package is returned due to an incorrect, incomplete, refused, or undeliverable address, return shipping fees, reshipping costs, supplier fees, or restocking fees may be deducted from any eligible refund or store credit.
❌ Cancellations
Cancellation requests must be submitted as quickly as possible after placing your order.
Once an order has begun processing, been prepared for shipment, or been sent to a supplier or fulfillment partner, we may not be able to cancel it.
If your order has already shipped and you no longer want it, you may refuse the package upon delivery when permitted by the carrier. If the package is returned successfully and qualifies for a refund, eligible merchandise may be refunded after return shipping fees, supplier fees, restocking fees, or other applicable charges are deducted.
🌎 Shipping Area
Velvet Reverie Boutique currently focuses on shipping within the United States.
If international shipping becomes available in the future, additional duties, taxes, customs fees, carrier fees, or import costs may apply. Customers are responsible for any such fees unless otherwise stated.
💸 Sales Tax
Orders shipped within North Carolina may be subject to applicable state and local sales tax.
Depending on tax settings, platform requirements, marketplace rules, or applicable laws, sales tax may also be collected for other locations when required.
Customers are responsible for any taxes, fees, or charges required by their local state, county, city, or jurisdiction when not collected at checkout.
📌 Product & Pricing Accuracy
We do our best to keep product descriptions, prices, images, availability, and shipping information accurate.
Occasionally, errors may occur because of supplier updates, inventory changes, technical glitches, import issues, or simple human error. We reserve the right to correct errors, update product information, adjust pricing, cancel affected orders, or contact you for clarification when needed.
Prices may change from time to time. The prices shown on the Site at the time of purchase are the current listed prices unless an error needs to be corrected.
📦 Lost, Delayed, or Marked-Delivered Packages
Once a package has been handed to the carrier, delivery timing and final delivery scans are managed by the carrier.
If your package is delayed, please allow a little extra time for carrier updates. If tracking shows delivered but you cannot locate the package, please check around your delivery area, mailbox, porch, parcel locker, neighbors, household members, and local post office or carrier location.
If the package still cannot be located, contact us and we’ll help guide you through the next steps where possible.
☀️ Heat, Cold & Weather Conditions
Some items may be sensitive to heat, cold, humidity, or weather conditions during transit.
Please bring packages inside as soon as possible after delivery, especially during extreme temperatures. Weather-related changes, including melting, softening, hardening, or texture changes, may not qualify for refund or replacement unless otherwise approved after review.
